The Peel Youth Medical Service (PYMS) Health Hub has now become a reality with both state Liberal and Labor parties committing a further $4.9 million to complete construction. This bi-partisan project enjoys support from the local community as well as all 3 levels of government.
In January this year, the WA communities of Preston Beach, Waroona, Yarloop and Harvey were tragically affected by devastating fires. In partnership with GP down south, on Sunday 27th November, Black Dog Ride gathered at Preston Beach and road around the fire zones of Yarloop, Harvey and Waroona and met with the locals to raise awareness of the mental health support agencies that are available to them.
In partnership with GP down south, Black Dog Ride Around The Fire 2016 is raising awareness of the mental health support agencies available and how to access these services. We will also provide a beacon of hope for the people in these communities to reassure them that they are not alone. For a copy of the promotional flyer please click here.
